An eye-witness account of DWH explosion & fire 10 miles away?

We are grateful to Anchorman for posting on Gcaptain.com an early account of the tragedy as the events unfolded at site. However, some questions need to be answered. Was he an independent eye-witness or were details of the disasters fed to him for posting? Was he made used of? It would be good for him to answer these and many other questions regarding his posting.
